Penny Arcade has a killer review about Assassins Creed. You really need to read it, if you're reading others reviews.
http://www.penny-arcade.com/news/show/22310

Also, we demoed Scene It for the 360 last night.. and were pleasantly surprised. We play Nick Scene It with our daughter and get fairly annoyed at how it really has to be 1 player. Here, with the buzzing in at your leisure, and answering in secret along side your competitors.. well, we really enjoyed it. Granted, it's for people that have seen all these movies, so our daughter was left a bit cold. We're betting there will be a Kids edition out within months.

The problem with creating a Couple site is .. well.. we have no idea what EVERYONE likes. We try to base our reviews on how well the couple can play TOGETHER.

Usually, Ymiris has the reflexes, so he takes the controls for single-player FPSs. Therefore, I rate the couple-gamability based on how much we interact with the game together. Halo 3 sucked to play AS A COUPLE. It wasn't unique, it wasn't especially cool. Portals? We both come up with ways to fix the portals & pass levels. Bioshock? There were so many puzzles, that either of us could come up with the answer to "what next?" Hellgate London, with it's multiplayer addition? Those are FABULOUS Couple games: they have an aspect that allows the couple to play TOGETHER.

Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, and Spore I am not looking forward to, but Ymiris is and he felt it really needed to be included in this list. Ymiris can't stomach my Phoenix Wright, Cooking Mama.. or really any of my DS fascinations, but I feel these are games good enough for others to play.

That being said, I probably didn't choose my words correctly. When I say "male-oriented" I really mean that Ymiris enjoys it, and I get bored after 5 mintues, and motion sick after 10 minutes. It's not male-oriented, but it isn't couple-oriented. I'll go through & fix that.

If you know of a game that you enjoy playing with your spouse, please let us know. We are always happy to make modifications!

Well this was of course Ophilye's point of view, and I think as a "girl" gamer she isn't being sexiest, but stating what she thinks girls will like, of course everyone is different, like I said in the post, I have 3 girls on my friends list that are playing Mass Effect as well, are they the norm? *shrug* that isn't for us to decide, we post what we know and that is what Ophilye knows, speaking as a girl of course.

Maybe you shouldn't look for things to be sexiest so much? It's a fun list, the only people who would take offense are the people wanting to.

"Sure, this is mostly male-oriented.. HL2 & Team Fortress 2 definitely… but the Portal inclusion means it’s girl-approved."

"OK, so this is traditionally a male-oriented game"

This whole list is ridiculously sexist. Why are you assuming that girls won't "approve" or enjoy these certain video games? This isn't the 50s, you know. The assumptions you make are really sickening. I'm a girl: Halo 3 is one of my favorite games. I think you need to modernize your view of female gamers.
